Eric King is the Vice President of Technology for the Sacramento Kings and Golden 1 Center, where he is responsible for overseeing all technology for the world’s most technologically advanced and sustainable arena. The 17,608-seat arena features a one of a kind 2,500 square foot, Tier-4 datacenter, connected to the arena with over 1,000 Wi-Fi Access Points, over 900 miles of fiber and CAT6a copper cabling and redundant 100 Gigabit internet connections. Together, these innovations have redefined the guest experience with industry-leading solutions. King has been with the Sacramento Kings organization since 2011 and served on the team that designed, developed and implemented the new arena’s advance infrastructure. King has over 20 years of professional experience in project management. He previously held roles with Rosecrance Health Network and The Valspar Corporation. A native to Illinois, King also served in the US Marine Corps prior to launching his career in Technology.
